Donations requiredBinfield Dog Rescue survives on donations of food for the dogs and money to pay vet fees. If you would like to help a dog during it's stay with us please send a cheque or postal order for any amount or bring your food/money donation to the above address. We also require old blankets, towels, sheets, quilts, pillows, Etc regardless of condition which we use as bedding for the dogs. Of course, any old dog items that you may no longer require such as beds, bowls, leads, toys, tennis balls, Etc are always welcome since some of dogs destroy these! No Squeeky Toys PleaseToys that make a noise when you squeeze them can encourage some dogs to be aggressive towards young children because they squeek too. The device that makes the noise is usually small and can be harmful if swallowed. Some toys of this type contain a small battery which is poisonous if the dog eats it. The best toys are tuggers, tennis balls and hard chew toys that cannot be ripped apart.
Food collection pointIf you do not have transport to drive to Binfield Dog Rescue, you can help us by depositing your food donation in the collection bin at the ASDA Superstore, Chalfont Way, Lower Earley, Reading. It is a large black wheelie-bin with DOG painted on it near the checkout at the far end of the store.
